A little about me...
I am originally from North Carolina and I have been involved with theatre and the arts since middle school. I was in Marching Band, Choir, Theatre, and more in high school. I went to Mars Hill University and graduated with a BA in Theatre with a concentration in Technical Theatre. I worked immediately out of college at the Santa Fe Opera as an Audio/Video Technician. Later I worked as an Auditorium Manager and taught Stage Technology at a high school in Charleston, SC. Since 2016, I have been working full-time as the Technical Director for the Tarkington Theatre, located on the beautiful campus of The Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, IN.

I got my start in photography by taking still photos and landscapes for theatres to use. That led to taking headshots for fellow actors, which turned into portraits. My work in various theatres around Charleston provided me an opportunity to take production photos for various shows and concerts. JHP allows me to combine both my love of performing and photography.

My wife and I have been married since 2011 and moved to Indy in 2016 to be closer to her family after our first son was born. We now have 2 boys, aged 3 and 5 and our dog Penny. We love taking them to all of the wonderful places in Indy for children such as the Children's Museum, Conner Prairie and the Zoo.
